By joining the Environment & Sustainability Team as a Maintenance Team Member you will be integral to keeping the museum maintained and well presented for our visitors. This is a varied role which requires a jack of all trades mentality as you will be performing different tasks over the MOTAT sites.
This role has true variety so will require you to think on your feet, work both independently and as part of the team, and identify opportunities for improvement across MOTAT while you are working. In your role, you will be required to maintain buildings and infrastructure, keep the grounds and sites tidy and free of rubbish, assist with the set-up of events, functions and exhibitions and undertake regular movement of furniture. You will also be responsible for accepting deliveries across MOTAT.

To be successful in this role you will be able to do everything listed above, will have the licenses and certifications needed (though these can be provided or renewed if required), and will be proficient in operating standard workshop machinery and equipment. Full drivers license required and forklift license beneficial.
We have 2x roles available both full and part time.
Full-time role is 7:30am - 6:00pm Wednesday to Saturday. This is a four day working week.
Part-time role working 24 hours per week to be worked Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
