MOTAT has an amazing opportunity to join the Science and Technology Centre (‘SciTech Centre’) project team. At its heart this is a storytelling role where you will be working as part of a team to:
MOTAT’s SciTech Centre (scheduled to open in 2024) is at the heart of the Museum’s vision to educate and inspire the innovators of tomorrow and we are committing to embedding mātauranga Māori and a dual world view in this kaupapa from the outset.
With a natural ability to walk in two worlds, you will thrive in an environment where and the successful delivery of interactive exhibitions and programming is measured, not just by numbers, but by the quality of the experience and diversity of the audience they attract. You could be an experienced exhibitions developer looking for a project that really motivates you or be inexperienced but with drive, a willingness to learn and grow, and a true love of storytelling. We would love to be able to offer a permanent role, but at the moment this is a two-year project and fixed-term role tied to the delivery of the SciTech Centre.
